WIN – WIN – WIN ! an AUTOGRAPHED Copy of J.T. Hodges self-titled Debut Album – a 2012 Top Pick

Here’s your chance to get your hands on an AUTOGRAPHED copy of  J.T. Hodges’ self-titled debut album – one of country music’s outstanding album’s of 2012 – country music at its finest !

JT Hodges made his country debut with his “Hunt You Down” single and his self-titled “JT Hodges” album debut on August 21, 2012. I had the privilege of seeing JT LIVE on Toby Keith’s Locked & Loaded Tour in 2011 and had the privilege of reviewing J.T. Hodges’ dynamite debut album last week.

In today’s ‘mixed genre’ compilations, it’s good to hear some good ‘ol fashioned country music and J.T. Hodges delivers that and more ! And I’m not the only one talking . . .

USA TODAY music critic Brian Mansfield includes J.T. Hodges’ “Rather Be Wrong Than Lonely” from JT’s recently released debut album in his weekly listening playlist stating:

Texas newcomer finds a sweet spot between country cool and power pop on this cut from his self-titled debut.

Mansfield’s comment  is quite impressive and masterfully on mark. And keeping company with J.T. Hodges on Mansfield’s weekly playlist are Mansfield’s pick of the week track ‘Say Goodnight’ (Eli Young Band ‘Life At Best’ – a 2011 top pick country album compilation of artistic brilliance); ‘Goin’ Down Rockin’ (Waylon Jennings); ‘Heart of Rhythm’ (Ryan Bingham); ‘Signs & Signifiers’ (J.D. McPherson); ‘Sweet Spot’ (Tift Merrit); ‘Let the Healing Begin’ (Dorothy Moore); ‘Cage’ (Van Ghost); ‘Blind Sighted Faith’ (The Dunwells); ‘Day by Day’ (Andrew Peterson); and ‘Calling Me Home’ (Kathy Mattea).

That’s some impressive company Hodges has found himself in the company of within one week of his debut album release. But if you’ve heard J.T. Hodges’ self-titled album, that company and Mansfield’s comment wouldn’t surprise you.

If you’ve not yet gotten your hands on J.T. Hodges’ self-titled debut masterpiece, NOW’s your chance. Country Music Pride will be giving away two autographed copies of J.T. Hodges’ self-titled debut album.
