Whitney Duncan Joins Cast of Survivor

The 23rd season of Survivor will head to the South Pacific this Fall as 18 castaways compete for the $1 million first-place prize. Among the cast will be fifth season Nashville Star contestant, Whitney Duncan. The “Skinny Dippin’” singer admits that her family thinks she’s “absolutely nuts,” but she’s always up for an adventure. The hour-and-a-half long season premiere aired September 14th on CBS at 8 p.m. EST.

Duncan released her debut album, Right Road Now, through Warner Bros. Nashville in 2010. Her newly released EP, Young In America, is available now through iTunes.

Earlier this year, news broke that Duncan’s cousin, Holly Bobo, was abducted from her Tennessee home in Decatur County. Anyone with information regarding Bobo’s disappearance should contact the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation at 1-800-TBI-Find.
