What Ifs: Lauren Alaina & Kane Brown Announced As Social Media Correspondents For 53rd ACM Awards

The Academy of Country Music has announced that ACM New Female Vocalist of the Year Lauren Alaina and multi-platinum rising star Kane Brown are the official social media correspondents for the 53rd Academy Of Country Music Awards.

While roving at ACM Party for a Cause events and awards show rehearsals leading up to the annual broadcast, as well as backstage as the show airs, Alaina and Brown will bring fans a front-row seat and behind-the-scenes perspective of the ACM Awards experience in real-time.

Available now, fans can watch for content posted across the ACM and CBS social platforms, as well as Kane’s and Lauren’s personal handles. Representing country music’s next generation, the two entertainers first met when they were choir classmates in middle school and are now ACM Award nominees in the Vocal Collaboration category for the Double-Platinum RIAA certified #1 hit “What Ifs.”

As previously announced, ACM Award nominee Kane Brown & ACM Award winner Lauren Alaina will perform on the 53rd ACM Awards, Country Music’s Party of the Year, broadcasting LIVE from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Sunday, April 15th (live 8:00-11:00 PM, ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network.
