Top 5 Stagecoach 2015 Fan Favorites

Here are the Top 5 things the 60K+ Stagecoach goers say they will remember about this year’s festival:

Number 1: Best Cover Song Performed-Old Salt Union

It’s always fun when we hear our favorite artists cover a great song…this year Jake Owen did both Sublime’s “What I Got” and the “Fresh Prince of Bel Air” theme song on Friday night. The Band Perry took on Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk,” on Sunday. But fans agreed hands down that the bluegrass men of Old Salt Union and their rendition of Paul Simon’s “You Can Call Me Al” was their favorite!

Number 2: Best Fashion Statement: All Things American Pride

This is what we saw a TON of over the Stagecoach weekend, ALL things American Flag from t-shirts, shorts, tank tops, halter tops, bikinis, suspenders, shoes, socks, cowboy hats, trucker hats, spandex leggings, cowboy boots and tattoos!

Number 3: Best Country Legend: Merle Haggard

It was Merle Haggard’s second performance at Stagecoach and had the Palomino Stage busting at the seams, bumping with classics such as “Mama Tried,” “Folsom Prison Blues” and his signature hit “Okie from Muskogee.” He could have filled the shoes of the Mane Stage by far…maybe next time!

Number 4: Best Weather: NO RAIN!

Those attending the festival were happy to get a break from 100+ degree weather this year! The temperatures were fantastic and much cooler than normal this time of year. Even though gusty winds and gloomy skies threatened rain on Saturday, only a few sprinkles actually came down.

Number 5: Best Stage Performance: Dierks Bentley

We all know Dierks doesn’t want to be the only one to have fun and he proved that on Saturday night. Fans agree he was an unexpected highlight of the festival and he was having so much fun, he even forgot a few of the lyrics, but his fans didn’t mind filling in for him!
