“The Charlie Daniels Band: Live At Billy Bob’s Texas” Premiers Sunday, Feb. 28th

For nearly six decades, The Charlie Daniels Band has brought their popular brand of bluegrass, country and southern rock to the masses, rightfully earning their rank as legends in the music industry.

Their fiery fiddling No. 1 hit, “The Devil Went Down To Georgia,” is RIAA Certified Platinum, having topped both the country and pop charts and earning the band a GRAMMY Award, three CMA Awards and prime placement on the soundtrack for the movie ‘Urban Cowboy. In 2015, the band performed over 100 concert dates, with one of the first stops being at the world’s largest honky-tonk, Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth. On that night, The Charlie Daniels Band joined Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard and many others as a member of the Live At Billy Bob’s Texas family.

The national television premiere follows the October 16th in-store date of the CD and DVD ‘The Charlie Daniels Band – Live At Billy Bob’s Texas’, released by Smith Music Group. The 14-track projects feature LIVE versions of hits like “Southern Boy,” “Long Haired Country Boy,” “The Devil Went Down To Georgia,” “The South’s Gonna Do It (Again),” “(What This World Needs Is) A Few More Rednecks,” “In America,” “El Toreador,” “I’ll Be Your Baby Tonight,” and many more.

The Charlie Daniels Band celebrates a legendary career of multiple GRAMMY, CMA, ACM and GMA Awards, and has exceeded 20 million in sales led by their six multi-platinum albums. They performed over 100 dates in 2015, and commence their 2016 tour in February.
