Team Blake’s Emily Ann Roberts Brings Something New To The Voice

Emily Ann Roberts brought something new to The Voice Monday night during the live performances. Something old, but new, a little something “bluegrass.” Team Blake’s only female country singer is showing primetime television that there is something about bluegrass music that should not be forgotten. Roberts brought her own twist on bluegrass center stage during her performance of The Judds’ classic, “Why Not Me?”

It may not have been the most energetic performance of the night, but it was as authentic as they come. What is even more impressive…the 17 year old Roberts singing the classic tune that precedes her in age.

Roberts may have been a little hesitant about going full “bluegrass,” but we are glad her coach, Blake Shelton, convinced her it was time…that’s some good coaching right there.

Congratulations #TeamBlake for making it to #TheVoice Top 10!
