Taylor Swift adds TV special, cruise to schedule

Taylor Swift — Speak Now, a one-hour television special for NBC, will air on Thanksgiving night (Nov. 25). She has also scheduled a Jan. 21 performance on a new Royal Caribbean cruise ship, Allure of the Seas, when the vessel is docked in Cozumel, Mexico. The two additions to her schedule follow Monday’s (Oct. 25) release of her new album, Speak Now.

Also taking place Monday is Speak Now: Taylor Swift Live From New York City, an international video streaming event on CMT.com, MTV.com, VH1.com and other MTV Networks websites in Europe, Asia, Australia and Latin America. The event will be streamed live at approximately 7 p.m. ET.

The NBC special provides a look inside the recording of Speak Now, along with performances and behind-the-scenes footage captured during the week the album is released. In addition, Swift will appear on Today and Late Show With David Letterman on Tuesday (Oct. 26), Live! With Regis and Kelly on Wednesday (Oct. 27), The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Nov. 1 and Dancing With the Stars on Nov. 2.

Swift’s performance on the Allure of the Seas will take place in the ship’s outdoor AquaTheater. The cruise departs Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on Jan. 16 and returns Jan. 23. Some 100 cabins on the cruise are reserved for winners of a radio and online sweepstakes.
