Tanya Tucker Is Back With A New Tour And New Music

The legendary Tanya Tucker has been making her mark in country music since she was a teenager recording Alex Harvey’s classic ‘Delta Dawn’ in 1972. Though the iconic country singer has taken time off these past few years to raise her children, she has recently signed with APA Nashville and is prepping to hit the road once again with a new tour and new music.  Scheduled for a release later in the year, the new tracks will be included in her first new album since My Turn” in 2009.

“I’ve taken a few years off and it is time to get back on the road,” Tucker stated.  “I am really excited to perform all the hits that the fans love so much, and sing a few new songs that I have been working on.”

Since making her debut in 1972, Tucker has enjoyed an unbelievable career that gained her four Platinum albums, eight Gold albums, and hits such as “The Jamestown Ferry,” “Down To My Last Teardrop,” and “Soon.”  In 1991, after almost two decades in the business, the CMA recognized her unique talents with Female Vocalist of the Year, which she rightfully earned.

Steve Lassiter, SVP/Partner and Head of Concerts at APA Nashville, knows just what his company has in Tanya Tucker – and he’s ready and excited to bring that blend of music and personality to her vast group of fans again.

“We are so delighted to be working with Tanya Tucker once again,” said Lassiter. “She is simply one of those artists that is an American original – where you don’t have to doubt who it is when you’re listening to her.  The fans have always been responsive to her live show, so this is nothing but a win-win for everyone concerned.”

We are so excited to hear her new music and see her out on the road again! For more information about Tucker’s upcoming tour and new album, please visit her Website.
