Tailgate Fest Adds Clint Black, Big Boi & King Callaway To Its 2019 Lineup

Southern California’s most unique country music experience Tailgate Fest has almost doubled in size and entertainment-factor with the addition of four new musical acts to its 2019 lineup.

“Tailgate Fest is a not just a festival,” says Carbone, “it’s a world where we think about the way these passionate fans want to consume their experience. How hard is it to leave a hotel pool party to get on a shuttle and trek 30 minutes to get to a festival? That would bum me out! At Tailgate Fest, the pool party is at the side of the stage because why not have both? From the elaborate tailgating creations to the side-stage swimming pool to a stellar line up, and oh yeah – building the entire thing on a real life sprawling ranch, we are focused on giving fans an experience they can’t find anywhere else.”

Held at the Leal Ranch in Eastvale, CA (just an hour east of Los Angeles), festival goers will have even more land to roam than last year, and the perfect grounds on which to stomp their boots. Tailgate Fest is pleased to reveal a new batch of musical artists to join this year’s already stellar lineup.

Clint Black, Big Boi, Hardy, and King Calaway will join the likes of Brantley Gilbert, Brett Eldridge, Lee Brice, Tyler Farr, Lyndsay Ell, LoCash, and RaeLynn at the second annual event. Attendees will enjoy two days of nonstop entertainment between August 17th-18th, all from the comfort of their own truck-side havens. Centered around the iconic pre-party experience that comes as second nature to country music fans, Tailgate Fest aims to bridge the gap between celebration and relaxation, all wrapped up with a down home ranch feel.

“Tailgating was the thing that I loved to do when I wasn’t working,” festival creator Melissa Carbone tells Billboard Magazine. “I got submerged in the tailgating culture for years and I hated throwing everything into my pockets and going into an arena and sitting in an uncomfortable chair and eating warm hot dogs and drinking lukewarm beer when I was just outside tailgating with all my friends with ice cold coolers and barbecuing and playing games. I thought how great would it be if I could stay here and bring the stages truck-side?”

Passes are on sale now on the Tailgate Fest website (latailgatefest.com). General admission two-day passes are currently $99 while VIP passes for the weekend are $329 and include amenities like viewing decks, premium bathrooms, private lounges, and early entry. The Super VIP Pass is also available for $599 and includes all VIP amenities in addition to access to a stage-side swimming pool and platform, exclusive private performance and parties, bottle service, and more. RV camping upgrades are available for purchase as well.
