Ronnie Dunn’s Third Solo Single “Let The Cowboy Rock” Debuts to Radio, Video, iTunes and a Live Yahoo! Ram Country Performance

There’s no denying Ronnie Dunn is on a roll with his solo career and performances. And this crowd-pleasing cowboy has just unleashed his third solo single, “Let the Cowboy Rock”

When Ronnie Dunn made his solo debut we were hearing comments such as “Dunn has one of the best tenor voices in country music” – The New York Times. And that tenor voice became quickly and quite apparent in Dunn’s debut solo single “Bleed Red”. Billboard commented, “Ronnie Dunn is a quietly intense singer with a soulful voice”. And that soulful voice made quite a mark on the soulful, heart-hitting, hard-time anthem “Cost of Livin'”. And Ronnie himself commented upon his self titled solo debut that:

“This feels like it’s not real, like it’s some kind of dream. I feel like I’ve waited my whole life to make this record. I just woke up with it finished.”

Well, it may feel like a dream and Ronnie may have waited his whole life to make this record, but it’s here and it’s here for good. And Ronnie Dunn’s third and latest up-tempo, cowboy-rockin’ single,“Let The Cowboy Rock” impacts radio Monday, January 16, 2012 and its supporting music video makes its debut at RonnieDunn.com the same day. The music video was filmed partly in Pendleton, Oregon during the Pendleton Round-Up with rider Blake Knowles (lead character) with additional footage of Dunn shot in Salt Flat, Utah and Nashville, Tennessee with The Stage on Lower Broadway serving as a backdrop.

Need a  little teaser on what to expect from Ronnie’s third solo release – “Let The Cowboy Rock” was penned by Dunn, along with hit songwriter Dallas Davidson, who also co-produced the track. It joins similar Dunn co-writes such as “Cowgirls Don’t Cry,” “Cowboy Town,” “Neon Moon,” “Boot Scootin’ Boogie,” and “Play Something Country”. That outta tell ya something about this cowboy’s latest rockin’ up-tempo.

But Really – This Cowboy’s Just Getting Rockin’ . . .

  • On Monday, January 16, 2012 the single debuts to radio and the video breaks ground at Ronnie’s place and begins making its rounds at CMT, GAC and supporting national networks.
  • On Tuesday, January 17, 2012 both the single and video are available for download at iTunes.
  • Then on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 a live performance from Dunn’s Yahoo!’s Ram Country taping will debut on Yahoo! Music featuring exclusive footage of “Let The Cowboy Rock,” “Cost of Livin’,” and “How Far To Waco” from Ronnie Dunn.

I’d say this cowboy has indeed found his own voice in a die-hard American country music genre that knows no bounds. And I’d say you’d best get over to Ronnie’s website and check this rockin’ cowboy out.
