Randy Rogers will take a weekend break from the road and return to his hometown of Cleburne, TX on Sunday, May 28th, to celebrate the grand opening of new baseball stadium The Depot at Cleburne Station, home to the independent professional baseball team the Cleburne Railroaders.
Rogers will participate in the unveiling of The Depot at Cleburne Station, serving as the Master of Ceremonies for the day’s activities, signing autographs and taking photos with fans throughout the day.
I’m excited about the positive impact the new stadium and the Railroaders will have in our community,” says Rogers. “Let’s play ball!”
The Depot at Cleburne Station will host the city’s Cleburne Railroaders, a team set to play in the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball beginning May 2017.
Rogers is an avid baseball fan and has thrown the first pitch prior to both a Texas Rangers game in Arlington and a Cubs game at Wrigley Field. Last year, Rogers spoke with MLB about his love for the Rangers, meeting Nolan Ryan and the Randy Rogers Band’s longstanding career. Watch here!
The Randy Rogers band is currently on tour in the Midwest, gearing up for large festivals Stagecoach and Windy City Smokeout, and on the heels of the album’s third number one track, the six-piece will release its fourth single off the Billboard Top 5 ‘Nothing Shines Like Neon’ in the coming weeks so stay tuned!
