Old Dominion to Perform at Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo’s 2016 World’s Championship Bar-B-Que Contest

Celebrating 43 years of great barbecue, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo announces the live performance line-up for the World’s Champion Bar-B-Que Contest, sponsored by Comcast business, to help kick-off the world’s largest livestock show and rodeo.

Taking place February 25-27, attendees will get a taste of authentic Country Music, with performances by Old Dominion, Bart Crow, Pat Green, Cameran Nelson, Rich O’Toole and more…

The Garden, a festive gathering place inside the World’s Championship Bar-B-Que Contest, will feature street dancing with live entertainment each night. The Garden Stage is sponsored by Miller Lite.

Thursday, Feb. 25

The Rockin’ Bar-B-Que Saloon is also open to the public inside the World’s Championship Bar-B-Que Contest and features additional live entertainment.

This year be sure and stop by the Rockin’ Bar-B-Que Saloon. An NRG Park Season Pass is $25 and is valid through the run of the contest and the duration of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo from March 1 – March 20, 2016. Tickets are available for purchase online at rodeohouston.com/Tickets/HalfPriceCarnivalPacks, or at the contest gates.

All proceeds go to benefit the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. With each ticket purchased, visitors are treated to a complimentary chopped beef sandwich plate. Guests will get the opportunity to enjoy their complimentary meal on the porch-style area at The Chuck Wagon.
