Obsessed Fans Will Be Excited About Dan + Shay’s Headlining Tour Announcement

Dan+ShayWarner Brothers Records country duo Dan + Shay recently announced a headlining tour, following the release of their first single “From The Ground Up” off their new album “Obsessed”.  The single has already hit #1 on the Billboard Country Charts.  The “Obsessed Tour” was named after the album title which according to the pair was inspired by fans.  Tickets for most shows during the 15 stop Fall tour will go on sale to the general public Friday, August, 26th.

Dan and Shay met in Nashville in December, 2012 and they instantly became a songwriting team.  Their first album “Where It All Began” was released in April, 2014.  They were the first duo to debut at #1 on Billboard’s Country Albums Chart.  The debut single from the album titled “19 You + Me” received RIAA Platinum certification; followed by their first #1 single “Nothing Like You” which earned RIAA Gold certification.

The duo has had numerous nominations over the past couple years including ACM “Vocal Duo of the Year” (3x), CMA “Vocal Duo of the Year” (2x), American Country Countdown Awards, CMT Awards, Radio Disney Music Awards and won the ASCAP Country Music Awards in 2015.  The duo has performed everywhere from the historic Grand Ole Opry stage to the Ellen Degeneres show.  

Previously they toured with Hunter Hayes and Blake Shelton and also lead multiple headlining tours and are currently finishing up a run with Darius Rucker.
