Natalie Stovall & The Drive’s New Song Supports The Boot Campaign

All summer country artists have been supporting the efforts of the Boot Campaign, traveling as far as Jamaica on Memorial Day weekend to help with their special project. Natalie Stovall & the Drive have now joined the campaign, providing assistance to a wonderful cause through proceeds from a new song.

Natalie, inspired years ago while visiting Africa on a Navy Entertainment tour playing for the troops, she recently explained to People how the experience touched her, specifically through one sailor she met.

“I spoke to a sailor who told me his story with such passion his words stuck with me. He had gotten married, was immediately deployed, had been gone for over a year and had no idea when he would be back home to see his wife.”

After returning home, Natalie began writing about her experience, the outcome ending with a song. Co-written by Natalie’s good friend Ruthie Collins, “Miss You the Most” was the product of the writing session and the song that is now providing support to our troops.

Natalie told People when asked about the song.

“The way this young man spoke about his wife was so beautiful. When I play it, I not only think about this young couple, but of all the men and women that spend way too much time apart from their loved ones and sacrifice so much for the rest of us.”

Retail sales of combat boots, apparel and mission-focused merchandise, general public donations and corporate sponsorship fund programs that support military families. These efforts extend to all generations of military personnel who endure significant physical, emotional and circumstantial hardships resulting from their service and sacrifice.
