Speculation has been floating around Nashville about the mysterious pop-up concert recently announced at the Ryman Auditorium.  Ticket’s for the Sam & Audrey concert go on sale today, Monday, October 3rd for a show the following night, Tuesday, October 4th.

Sam & Audrey aren’t names that come to mind as any famous artists but country radio host Bobby Bones stated he received a strange call from an A-list country artist advising him it’s a show not to be missed; “I bet you $1,000 that the next day after Sam & Audrey play The Ryman, everybody in country music will be talking about (it)” the source told Bones.

When you think about it you come up empty handed until you start analyzing celebrity names a little deeper.  A lot of stars have show names and there is one country sensation couple that fits the bill- Samuel Timothy McGraw and Audrey Faith Perry, better known as Tim & Faith.

Rumors are flying that they are the mysterious Sam & Audrey as both of their calendars appear to be open Tuesday night and they are scheduled to receive stars on the Music City Walk of Fame this Wednesday, so they’ll likely be in town.  Tickets to the event are priced at just $20 which is another hint it may be the McGraw’s as Tim & Faith are celebrating their 20th Anniversary this Thursday, October 6th.  Tim & Faith have never before played the Ryman so this could be a show to remember.

Of course, with any speculation there’s always the chance that it could be just that.  Other hit country artists with the name Sam include Sam Hunt, Sammy Kershaw and hit TV series Nashville’s Sam Palladio.  However, that still leaves the question of who Audrey would be.

Whoever it is, it sounds like it’s going to be a stellar show you won’t want to miss if you’re in town; so hop onto ryman.com tomorrow morning and try to snag tickets to be one of the first to find out who the mystery Sam & Audrey are on Tuesday night.
