Morgan Wallen Doubles Down On Platinum Certifications

Big Loud Records’ newest star Morgan Wallen is celebrating a one-two punch of Platinum level certifications from the RIAA: as a songwriter on Jason Aldean’s sultry #1 “You Make It Easy” and as an artist on his summertime smash “Up Down” featuring Florida Georgia Line.

Last week Wallen shared the stage with Aldean, alongisde “You Make It Easy” co-writers Jordan Schmidt and FGL’s Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard, in a “full circle moment” to celebrate the song’s swift ascent.

Also last week, Wallen joined collaborators FGL for a surprise performance of “Up Down” on CMA Fest. In case you missed it, check out the high-energy clip below

His first #1 as an artist, “Up Down” is featured on Wallen’s debut album “If I Know Me” released April 27th. The “impressive piece of work” (Taste of Country) is available now at all digital retailers. It also houses his latest single “Whiskey Glasses,” which is steadily making its way up the charts after being among the most added at Country radio its first week of release. Whiskey Riff calls the play-on-words tune “clever, catchy and if you’ve ever had to drink away a broken heart, you know exactly where he’s coming from.”

The wildfire talent continues to bring crowds to their feet as support on Luke Bryan’s “What Makes You Country Tour” and has been tapped to join label mate Jake Owen’s “Life’s Whatcha Make It Tour 2018” beginning October 4th, along with special guest David Lee Murphy.

Wallen will hit the stage at Busch Stadium in St. Louis on August 25th for his tenth stadium stand on Bryan’s “XL – Stadium Sized” dates.
