Meet Up-And-Coming Country Star Spencer Crandall

Talented up-and-coming country artist Spencer Crandall has been a busy man…he released his debut single, “Do It All Again” at the end of 2016 and continues to grow his popularity through his Instagram covers. He hit to road with Chris Lane and Tyler Rich in 2016 and is gearing up for another jam-packed year in 2017.

Take a minute to get to know the “Do It All Again” singer here:

Country Music Pride: Give us a glimpse into the inspiration behind your new single “Do It All Again”…and what do you hope your fans take away from the single?

Spencer Crandall: Do It All Again is written about a relationship I had over the course of a summer. It ended mutually, but there will always be a part of me that wants to go back and redo those experiences. I hope the fans can relate it to their lives and find meaning in the lyrics. My goal when I am songwriting is to have people take my experiences, whether good or bad, and use them to help them get through their day to day lives.

Country Music Pride: What would really excite you and encourage you that could be done by our readers and fans of your that would help bring the single to the top of America’s Country radio?

Spencer Crandall: I love when fans share my music with their friends and family. I am a big believer that the best way to fall in love with music is through a personal recommendation, so the next time you are hanging out with all of your buddies, just pop on one of my songs! Also, any social media love that y’all can show me is always much appreciated 🙂

Country Music Pride: Who has had the biggest influence on your music?

Spencer Crandall: I draw influence from a lot of different artists. In country, it is the greats like Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Garth Brooks and Tim McGraw that will always have a special place in my heart. Their ability to tell stories and entertain is remarkable. Outside of country, I am a massive Justin Timberlake, Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars and John Mayer fan, so a lot of my vocal style and sound comes from those guys.

Country Music Pride: What has it been like being out on the road with Tyler Rich?

Spencer Crandall: Playing shows with Tyler is great!! He has been so supportive and has helped me get to that next level by exposing me to his fans and connecting me with key people in the industry. Tyler and I have become close friends and I am sure there are hundred of more shows for us to play together in the future.

Country Music Pride: Have you received any accolades from any groups or persons that you highly value?

Spencer Crandall: Recently, I have been getting some great press! Several articles have put me in “Artists to watch in 2017” or “Destined for the CMA awards” lists, so those are always fun and validating! I always appreciate being included in those conversations!

Country Music Pride: What can your fans expect from you in the next year?

Spencer Crandall: The New Year is gonna be amazing! We are planning to play a lot more shows and put out some great new music! I look forward to connecting with all of my existing fans and getting to create some new ones along the way.

Country Music Pride: One fun fact about you guys or experience that your fans may not know about you???

Spencer Crandall: Fun Fact: I used to play college football until I had two career ending shoulder injuries. I love sports and miss the game a lot, but I have loved getting to dive head first into country music!
