Martina McBride Hosts An Afternoon Songwriter Session At BML

As Country superstar Martina McBride gets ready for the release of her first album on Nash Icon Records, she invited several of Music City’s top tunesmiths to an intimate afternoon at the Big Machine Label Group offices. Martina shared with them her creative vision for the project, which will also be helmed by Nathan Chapman. The personal conversations with prior collaborators and bright new faces provided a solid foundation as Martina begins recording this summer.

With her timeless hits like “Independence Day,” “A Broken Wing” and “This One’s For The Girls,” McBride, (four-time CMA Female Vocalist of the Year), is excited to bring together another series of powerful songs that will impact her fans on many levels. Preceding her 13th studio album, Martina recently released a studio version of “Over The Rainbow” to iTunes which followed her performance on FOX’s American Idol.

Next week, Martina will be honored with The Music Business Association’s prestigious 2015 Harry Chapin Memorial Humanitarian Award before she heads back out on her “Everlasting Tour”, which will continue throughout the fall.
