Luke Bryan premieres “Rain is a Good Thing” video exclusively on iTunes February 9

Nashville, TN (February 8, 2010) – Capitol Records Nashville recording artist and ACM “Top New Vocal Soloist” nominee will premiere his new video “Rain Is A Good Thing” on iTunes beginning February 9. The video, directed by award-winning director Shaun Silva, was shot back in October at Bryan’s inaugural Farm Tour show and includes over 3,500 of his rain-soaked fans who stuck out the mud and wet weather to see Bryan’s high-energy live show.

“Rain Is A Good Thing,” the followup to his recent #1 song “Do I,” off his sophomore album Doin’ My Thing, is at #35 on the Billboard and #37 on the Mediabase/Country Aircheck charts after only five weeks making it Bryan’s fastest rising single to date.

Bryan is currently out on the road opening for Jason Aldean’s record-setting sold out “Wide Open Arena Tour.” His second album, Doin’ My Thing, for Capitol Records Nashville landed at #2 on the Billboard Country Albums chart and #6 on the all-genre Billboard Top 200 album chart selling over 57,000 albums in its first week of release, more than doubling the first week sales of his debut album I’ll Stay Me in 2007.
