Kristian Bush Releases His First Solo Album “Southern Gravity”

Platinum-selling country star, song writer and producer, Kristian Bush, recently released his critically acclaimed debut solo album, “Southern Gravity,” one Country Weekly is calling the “feel good album of the year.”

Rolling Stone had the exclusive first interview with Bush, where he candidly shared the story behind the making of “Southern Gravity” The new album is a collection of 12 surprisingly upbeat and inspirational tracks inspired by the many tumultuous changes in Kristian’s personal and professional life.

“These songs are like post-it notes that you might put around your house as inspirational reminders,” says Kristian. “I listen to them for that reason sometimes — to remind myself that no matter how hard it gets, you can make things out of the pieces that are smashed.”

“Southern Gravity,” produced by Bush alongside long-time friend and engineer Tome Tapley, and executive produced by Byron Gallimore, is a true testament to Kristian’s extraordinary gift for writing the sort of perfect country-pop hits that are reflected in the lead single and Top 20 hit, “Trailer Hitch.”

The album has already received rave reviews from Country Weekly, The Boston Globe, and The Sydney Morning Herald, all giving “Southern Gravity” 4 stars, stating that, “Kristian Bush makes writing good country music sound easy. Among this album of warm, guitar-filled country rock, his vocal delivery shines, an honest balance of drawl and clarity that sets the whole album at ease.”
