Keith Urban Premieres Official “You Gonna Fly” Video on January 17, 2012 with Some Hidden Messages

Keith Urban wrapped up his 2011 Get Closer Tour with a set of vocals that were in need of rest and repair. If you were lucky enough to have made it to one of Urban’s 2011 Get Closer Concerts then you can probably appreciate his exhausted pipes. Keith reportedly underwent surgery for vocal polyps in late November and has been resting his vocal assets in preparation for 2012.

And well, with 2012 only days old it seems this multi-GRAMMY winner is wasting no time getting back into the swing of things.

Keith debuted his current single “You Gonna Fly” at the 2011 CMAs with an outstanding performance and his signature meandering through the squealing crowd. And now this Awesome Aussie has just wrapped up the official “You Gonna Fly” video accompaniment which makes its world premiere on Access Hollywood Live and Access Hollywood on Tuesday, January 17, 2012. (Check local listings for times) And be sure to really tune in to this one as Urban’s website suggests:

“The video looks back at the Get Closer World Tour and is filled with many hidden messages . . . “

Hmmm, what could this Stupid Boy be up to now? I guess we’ll have to tune in to find out.

Until then … enjoy “You Gonna Fly’s” lyrical inspiration and Keith’s vocal conviction suggesting “You could be a black bird on a country street // hiding from the world with a broken wing // but you better believe you gonna fly with me…”

Christine McDonald

Christine McDonald has been writing since she was old enough to hold a pencil and a thought. Her pastimes growing up were singing, dancing, writing and plunking out tunes on a little toy piano. Singing "All You Need Is Love", Christine made her debut where most performers get their start - in a little joint called the bathroom. In 2004 she joined the Boston chapter of (NSAI) and studied songwriting. Christine's a bona fide music junkie, toe-tapping even to commercials but "She's Country" at heart. Combining her love of the arts, singing, dancing, songwriting and writing, it's no surprise Christine took to Freelance Writing as a Profession. When Christine's not writing for the entertainment industry she's usually plucking out articles or web writing for the Holistic Health Industry. Christine's also a Master Reiki Practitioner-Teacher of the Japanese Healing Art of Reiki. You can check it all out at her website. And nobody says it like Kenny Chesney, but "She's from Boston" !!!
