Kaitlyn Baker ‘Soars’ With New Music

Kaitlyn Baker, native of Pound, VA, who began winning regional talent contests when she was just seven years old, releases her new EP “Blackbird” available now!  She celebrated with two events near her hometown this weekend,  at G.W. Clisso Restaurant located in Big Stone Gap, VA and an EP release party at The Silver Spur in Gate City, VA. Patrons for the VIP event at G.W. Clisso Restaurant received a copy of Kaitlyn’s new EP with reservations for dinner and the show.

We are already Kaitlyn Baker fans, and we think all of you will be, too” says Countryschatter.com.

Baker wrote and co-wrote all of the songs on “Blackbird” with special attention to the title track.  A song which is a tribute to a very close friend, and band member, who was killed in an automobile accident by a drunk driver.  “Blackbird” was previously released as the first single from the new EP.  Her self-penned songs mirror real life and this one is especially close to her heart.

Born and raised in a small Virginia mining town, and referred to as a modern day “coal miner’s daughter,” her pure country voice rings true and her songwriting rivals Nashville’s finest.  Baker’s voice soars on the new release and fans can look forward to great things to come in the future!

The music of Kaitlyn Baker is available on iTunes and Amazon and for more information visit her website at www.KaitlynBaker.com.
