Justin Moore Steps On Deck For The 2015 MLB All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game

When it comes to big hits, Justin Moore has cranked out one Grand Slam after another. His multiple #1 chart-topping hits are adding up to his one million plus records sold.  This weekend, the avid baseball fan will take a break from the ‘Crushin’ It World Tour‘ with Brad Paisley and try his hand at a new kind of hit making. He will be participating in the 2015 MLB All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game this Sunday, July 12th at the Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Justin, along with fellow ACM New Artist of The Year award-winner, Cole Swindell, will be representing the country genre on the long list of celebrity participants from a variety of entertainment scenes, some of which will include: Snoop Dogg, Jordin Sparks, Josh Hutcherson, Anthony Anderson, Nick Lachey, Macklemore, Andy Dalton,  Jennie Finch, Olivia Holt, Chad Lowe and many more.

“I’m stoked to break out the spikes again,” Moore said. “Baseball is my favorite sport, and one I’ve played my whole life. I may be a little rusty, but it’s just like riding a bike. Should be fun to get back on the diamond with all the other folks playing.”

In between innings, Moore will be hosting CMT’s Hot 20 Countdown, capturing one-on-one interviews and crazy shenanigans with some of the top celebrity participants. The episode will premiere on Saturday, July 18th at 9|8 a.m. CT. If you miss it, the episode will re-air on July 19th at 9|8 a.m. CT.

The MLB All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game will be nationally televised by ESPN immediately following the Gilette Home Run Derby presented by Head & Shoulders on Monday, July 13th. You won’t want to miss this so don’t forget to tune in!
