Jamie O'Neal CruiseJamie O’Neal is taking a family vacation to Alaska this upcoming summer and has invited fans to join them…

Country star Jamie O’Neal, along with husband Rodney and daughter Aliyah will be hopping aboard the Emerald Princess on July 7, 2017 for a week-long Alaskan cruise. The northbound ship disembarks out of Seattle, WA and stops in the ports of Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway and Victoria, B.C. boasting views of Sawyer Glacier in the Tracy Arm Fjord along the way.

During the week fans will be able to interact with Jamie as she hangs out around the vessel as well as attend 2 shows featuring Jamie and her family. An optional songwriter workshop is also available as an add-on. ‘Jamie’s Songwriter Workshop’ will allow writers an intimate experience with her. She will share her writing techniques, discuss lyrics, lead a writing session, host a Q&A as well as an open mic.

Four-time Grammy nominee and vocal powerhouse Jamie O’Neal was born in Sydney, Australia to professional musicians Julie and Jimmy Murphy. At the age of 8 she began to sing with her family’s band. She broke into the country music scene in 2000 with her debut album Shiver. The album was an immediate success with the first two singles- “There is No Arizona” and “When I Think About Angels” hitting #1 on Billboard’s US Country Songs chart. Two more songs, “Shiver” and “Frantic” would also be released as singles and chart. Her second album Brave featured hit songs “Trying to Find Atlantis” and “Somebody’s Hero”. She released her latest album Eternal in 2014. She also penned the hit song “How Far” recorded by Martina McBride and was featured on Mark Wills’ 2001 hit song “I’m Not Gonna Do Anything Without You”.

Her husband Rodney has been her lead guitarist throughout her career. Their 13-year-old daughter has followed in both mom and dad’s footsteps learning both guitar and vocals as well as penning some pretty darn good songs of her own. Her amazing vocals at such a young age along with her writing talents, mom’s good looks and enduring charm, Aliyah is surely one to watch out for in the years to come.

Jamie now resides in the Nashville area and owns her own record label Momentum Label Group. She finds joy in writing with and producing up-and-coming artists and allowing them the freedoms not available with major labels, stating, “I love writing and producing young artists with big dreams.”

Keep up to date with Jamie and Aliyah on the usual social media sites and find more cruise info on Princess.com.
