ICYMI: Chris Lane Lights Up NBC’s TODAY With Tori Kelly

Fresh off the release of his sophomore album “Laps Around The Sun” (Big Loud Records), Chris Lane made his debut on NBC’s TODAY, performing the Top 10 single “Take Back Home Girl.” Taking the stage alongside Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Tori Kelly, the two harmonized effortlessly to the lead single from Lane’s latest release.

Produced by studio ace Joey Moi, “Laps Around The Sun”  has held the #1 spot on iTunes’ Top Country Albums Chart since its release (July 13th). Spotlighted as one of Rolling Stone’s “10 New Albums to Stream Now,” praise is pouring in for Lane’s sun-soaked musical evolution and follow-up to three consecutive GOLD-certified singles.

With his star continuously on the rise, Lane recently surpassed half a billion career streams. “Laps Around The Sun” charts a similar course for the breakout talent, as the organic 14-track collection has already accumulated nearly 200 million streams.

As part of his whirlwind album release week, Lane performed in Lexington, KY (July 17th) and Louisville, KY (July 18th). This weekend he continued to deliver his high energy set with headline shows in Bloomfield, IA (July 20th) and Hartington, NE (July 21st).

Since bursting onto the scene with his breakout #1 smash “Fix,” Chris Lane’s star continues to rise with three consecutive Gold-certified singles in the U.S. & Canada, a Top 5 album and 500 million+ combined streams.
