Granger Smith Launches “2018 Don’t Tread On Me Tour” With First Ever New York City Show

Hit maker Granger Smith brought the YEE YEE Nation brand of country to the city last night during an electrifying show at New York City’s famed Irving Plaza, marking both the launch of his “2018 Don’t Tread On Me Tour” and his New York City full band debut show. Playing to a packed house, Smith performed a charged set of songs from his new album “When The Good Guys Win”, mixed with beloved tracks from previous records.  This headlining tour will take him to every corner of the US and bookends with a run of shows in Canada in April.

Smith, whose hits include the No. 1 RIAA GOLD “Backroad Song,” “If The Boot Fits” and current single “Happens Like That,” has steadily and swiftly built his career and aptly birthed an unparalleled brand. Dubbed Yee Yee Nation, his rabid and energized followers continue to show up in droves and last night was no exception.

The tour launches as his latest single “Happens Like That” is set to break into the top 15 powered by fan support nationwide.  Granger Smith’s connection to his fans is unique even among the Country genre.  As Smith criss-crosses the nation on this tour, he continues to call fans daily fulfilling a pledge he made to personally call everyone that bought his latest album during release week.
