George Strait will celebrate the approaching release of his new box set, Strait Out of the Box: Part 2, with a LIVE concert in his home state of Texas tonight, Wednesday, November 16th. According to a press release, Strait and his Ace in the Hole Band will take the stage at an undisclosed Texas dancehall to film the show.
And even though tickets are not on sale for this event…it gets even better…the concert will be streamed live via the internet for all his fans to watch!
The commemorative night of music will be live streamed at Strait.WranglerNetwork.com at 7:00 PM CT.
Strait Out of the Box: Part 2 will be released this Friday, November 18th. The set features three discs, containing a total of 56 tracks: 36 hit singles…including 26 No. 1’s and Strait’s newest single, “Goin’ Goin’ Gone”, 18 album cuts and two brand-new tunes, “Kicked Outta Country” and “You Gotta Go Through Hell.” All of the songs included in the collection were chosen by Strait himself, from music released over the last 20 years.
Strait retired from touring in 2014, although he still performs occasionally and currently has shows scheduled in Las Vegas, Nevada, on December 2nd and December 3rd, 2016, and February 17th and 18th, 2017.
