Don’t Miss Award Winning Duo Haley & Michaels Release of Lyric Video for their First Single “The Price I Pay”

Nashville-based duo, Haley & Michaels, have been making quite a stir since arriving on the scene in 2011. The pair met in Nashville in January 2011 and played their first show together that December at The Red Devil Lounge near their shared hometown in the San Francisco Bay area.

Haley-Michaels-NIMA-3-150x150In 2012 the team took home Best Performance and Best Band at the Nashville Independent Awards.  They’ve spent some time working on their upcoming album, working in studio with Mikal Blue (Colbie Caillat/Five For Fighting) and Warren Huart (The Fray/James Blunt).

The duo, consisting of Shannon Haley and Ryan Michaels, have been compared to Lady Antebellum and The Band Perry but one listen and I’m sure you’ll agree they have a unique sound and a natural blend that needs no comparison.

In addition to working on their album, Haley & Michaels have mastered a cover video of Hunter Hays’ chart-topping hit, Wanted, that truly gives a whole new level of intensity to the song. They’ve released a lyrical video for their first single, The Price I Pay and the “official” video will be coming soon, so keep an eye out for that.

Music Connection asserts that:

“the radio-ready first single brilliantly showcases the tight, well-blended harmonies that are close to constant in their music.”

Be sure to lavish your senses in Haley & Michaels cover of “Wanted” and the lyric video for their first single The Price I Pay. And stay tuned. There’s more to come from and about Haley & Michaels . . .
