David Nail Breaks From The Studio For The Grand Ole Opry

David Nail has been busy working on new music for the follow-up to his massively-acclaimed “I’m A Fire” album, the one that landed on many ‘Best Of 2014’ lists for Rolling Stone Country, NPR, iTunes. He recently took a break from the studio to join the Grand Ole Opry’s nine-month 90th Anniversary celebration to perform.

The platinum-selling singer-songwriter surprised the audience and members of his own team when he debuted for the very first time and fresh from the studio, the performance of his new single Fighter” which he wrote for his wife Catherine. The Opry had selected Nail to be the first “artist takeover” of its newly-launched Snapchat, OPRYSNAPS.

Nail engaged with fans with an play by play account of his Opry experience, including backstage highlights from his dressing room and his performance on stage, which included his signature # 1 hit “Red Light.” Along with the Opry audience, OPRYSNAPS followers were also the first to get an exclusive glimpse the brand new song, “Fighter.”

David Nail is considered to be one of the most distinct and powerful voices in country music, and is back on the road performing at the Tortuga Music Festival in Fort Lauderdale and has upcoming dates over the next few weeks in Arizona, Texas, North Carolina, West Virginia and Pennsylvania.
