Chris Lane Takes It Slow With “I Don’t Know About You”

Breakout Big Loud Records star Chris Lane is gearing up for the release of “Laps Around The Sun”, dropping another of the project’s irresistible tracks. “I Don’t Know About You” is available instantly when you  Lane’s forthcoming sophomore album, due out Friday, July 13th.

Written by Ashley Gorley, Michael Hardy, Hunter Phelps and Jameson Rodgers, “I Don’t Know About You” captures the can’t-get-enough feeling of a new relationship. With a clever turn of phrase, the song paints a picture with Country lyrics sure to inspire stadium-wide sing-alongs.

The hard-crushing anthem follows two buzzed-about new releases from “Laps Around The Sun” …light-hearted summer jam “Fishin’” and musical shot of truth, “Drunk People.” The album’s lead single “Take Back Home Girl” (featuring Grammy-nominated artist Tori Kelly) is currently Top 10-and-climbing at Country radio after becoming Lane’s third consecutive Gold-certified single.

Lane and Kelly will take the stage on Tuesday, July 17th to perform the smash hit on NBC’s TODAY in the 8:00 a.m. hour. Following their inaugural television performance of “Take Back Home Girl” on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon (April 2nd), the pair received critical acclaim for the “hearts-on-fire performance” (Rolling Stone) and “dynamic delivery” (Taste Of Country).

Taking new music straight to fans all summer long, Lane’s schedule is booked solid with high-profile fairs, festivals and headlining dates.
