Is Chris Cagle retiring from country music? No official announcement has been made regarding his future plans, but a series of posts to his social media accounts this weekend left his fans wondering.
Cagle hinted that the end was in sight for him when he posted photos on Twitter of his young children dressed up for Halloween and wrote, “I tired of missing moments like this…and this! #familyman.”
Chris wrote, “I would like to thank everyone for 15 years of a great time! From B&D to Flatts and fans! I’m going to miss everyone!”
He posted once more after receiving a number of comments from fans, saying, “I must say I am a little overwhelmed by the kind words from everyone! I thank you for your kindness!”
Chris released his first album, “Play It Loud“, back in 2000. The first single from the project, “My Love Goes On and On,” hit #15 and the follow-up, “Laredo,” became his first Top 10. In 2001, the third single, “I Breathe In, I Breathe Out,” made it all the way to #1.
He released his latest album, “Back in the Saddle“, on the now shuttered Bigger Picture Music Group label.
No official statement has been made from Chris regarding his future plans.
