Ellie has truly beaten the odds. This spunky 15-year-old hasn’t let her diagnosis of spina bifida get in the way of her dreams – and she just had the best night of her life.
She was surprised and brought on stage during country star Chris Lane’s concert while he sang his song “For Her” right to Ellie. Chris Lane is a generous supporter of CMN Hospitals and donated tickets and meet & greet passes to Ellie and her family for his concert in Chicago. Ellie was ecstatic to meet one of her favorite country artists and even made him a video beforehand.
“I can’t be your take home girl, but I can absolutely be your Chicago pal.”
