Charlie Daniels Pleads “Take Back the USA” in his Newest Song Release

“In a time where music has lost much of its meaning and heart, Charlie Daniels reminds us that patriotism is a way to reach millions and millions of Americans,” says SiriusXM Patriot 125 producer Ray Muccio.

Legendary Country music artist Charlie Daniels has hit the proverbial nail on the head with the release of his latest single on Blue Hat Records, titled “Take Back The USA.”

Alabama’s Teddy Gentry and Charles English of Music Brothers Productions produced the song.  Songwriter and multi instrumentalist Bobby Terry contributed lyrics, along with Gentry and English.  Distributed through Megaforce Records/MRI and Sony/Red Distribution, the song is a plea to the people of the United States to “Take Back The USA.”

A Timely Sentiment
In a not so strange coincidence, when I left the polls today (Presidential Election Day Nov 6.) I uploaded a picture of my “I Voted” sticker with this sentiment:

“Grateful for my right to vote…but it’s In God I Trust…may He direct the President Elect to take care of her people appropriately.”

There’s no doubt, Charlie Daniels’ “Take Back the USA” release couldn’t have come at a more appropriate time.

Two versions of the single have been released, one including a narrative of a bible verse from Chronicles 7-14.

“If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and will heal their land.” – 2 Chronicles 7:14

Although Chronicles 7:14 has been noted for its misinterpretation, I think all people translate everything they come upon as to how it affects them personally.

Given that caveat, I’d have to say “Take Back the USA” and the use of this biblical verse (2 Chronicles 7:14) speaks to and for the emotions of many Americans right now and especially (today Nov 6.) during an extremely important election year.

But biblical interpreation aside, one thing that is truly unquestionable is we are all one and everything affects the other.

“This song reminds me why I love Country music,” says WKMK Program Director Marty Mitchell.  “For over half a century, Charlie Daniels has continued to carry the patriotic torch for Country music.”

Well, let’s all do our patriotic chore. First off, let’s, each of us, head on over and download “Take Back the USA” at iTunes and then together let’s heed Charlie’s advice and . . .
