Carrie Unerwood Debuts Sizzling New Video For “Smoke Break”

Carrie Underwood recently announced the release of her newest single, “Smoke Break”, which will also be the lead single from her upcoming album, “Storyteller.” This will be the first studio record for Underwood since 2013.

The song itself is just kind of one of those story songs that I feel like everybody can relate to, about how life is so hectic and it’s so nice when, if and when, you actually get to kind of step away for a second,” Underwood recently shared on her Facebook page. “And we all need that; we all need that time to ourselves to get to take a break.”

With past hits such as “Before He Cheats” and “Last Name,” Carrie Underwood is no stranger to empowering hardworking women and making sure they take a little time to stop and do something for themselves. In her new video for “Smoke Break,” a diner waitress, and mother of 4, is shown working hard behind the counter…that is until she meets a handsome boy from the city who shares her occasional vices.

I feel like a lot of the songs that I wrote and gravitated to ended up being more traditional and ‘twangy’ than anything I have ever done before. I just went with it!”
