Carrie Underwood Wins ‘Favorite Female Country Artist’ At People’s Choice Awards

Congratulations to country’s sweetheart, Carrie Underwood, who took home her 7th People’s Choice Award this evening, winning “Favorite Female Country Artist,” during the show. The show was broadcast from the Nokia Theater L.A. Live in Los Angeles and aired on CBS.

Underwood thanked the fans for her “Favorite Female Country Star” win with an endearing pre-taped message. Keeping things simple, short and sweet, she expressed her gratitude for all of the “love and support” that you’ve given her over the past 10 years, and adding that she was “beyond honored.”
