California Country’s New Flagship Artist Sam Outlaw Plays The Troubadour June 1

Sam Outlaw is LA’s new flagship country artist, and he has the bonafides to prove it. Check out the”California Country” playlist he created for Buzzbands.la last week, features everything from Buffalo Springfield to Randy Newman here!

Outlaw’s new LP ‘Tenderheart’ is out now, and he’ll play a special hometown show at The Troubadour on Thursday, June 1st.

What’s amazing about Sam’s ‘Tenderheart’ is that it has earned praise from places that almost never cover country…Fader premiered the first single (literally the only other country acts they have ever covered are Kacey Musgraves and Margo Price).

Other big hits from NPR, Brett Easton Ellis’ podcast, Rolling Stone, Brooklyn Vegan, and we particularly love how Vulture called ‘Tenderheart’ “one of the genre’s best album of the year.”

For a complete list of tour dates and more information, visit Sam’s website and follow him on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

Last week the (slightly NSFW) official music video for his new single “Trouble” premiered with CMT…check that one out here:
