Brett Eldredge To Judge Miss America

Brett Eldredge, Country Music Association’s reigning New Artist of the Year, knows what it’s like to stand on stage and hope to have earned enough votes to win that coveted trophy.

So it is fitting that in September, he will be on the deciding end of a very different title…Miss America.

The Miss America Organization recently announced Eldredge as the first of seven judges of the 2016 Miss America Competition. The live broadcast of the 95-year-old competition is at 8 p.m. September 13th on ABC.

It’s a boy’s dream to judge Miss America,” Eldredge said. “These women represent America; they display their talents, their beauty, and their minds. And as I judge, I get to be a part of that dream.”

The 2016 Miss America Competition will be held at Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall and will feature 52 women who represent their home states and territories competing for the Miss America title, crown and accompanying scholarships.

Eldredge’s newest single “Lose My Mind” from his upcoming fall album is now playing on country radio.
