Brandon Alan Ships New Single “Through The Cracks” To Country Radio

There is a new guy in town! I am pleased to introduce you to Texas Guitarist, Singer, Songwriter Brandon Alan! Alan debuted his second single “Through The Cracks” featuring Bart Crow (one of Texas’s leading honky-tonkers) on country radio October 13th and is now available on iTunes!

Brandon, recently played a unique live-cast CD preview show on Living Room Live October 14th from Austin’s hot spot Austin Ridge. The special show took a rare look inside the making of his album which featured Brandon playing with the same all-star musicians who played on his upcoming self-titled LP, including his producer and former Seal drummer Ramy Antoun, as well as Sergio Andrade (Lifehouse) on bass, Clayton Corn (Pat Green) on keys, and Jacob Hiltebrand (Miranda Lambert) on the texture guitars.

The devoted guitarist who is described as sounding like John Mayer dipped in a country river released his self-titled, bluesy country LP on November 18th. The upcoming new self-titled debut LP will give fans great satisfaction with the musical heavy weights Brandon has recruited to play, produce, mix and master. The bluesy country singer’s musical influences include those of Vince Gill, Brad Paisley, Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler from Dire Straits, Sting, Joe Walsh, Foo Fighters, Stephen Stills from Crosby Stills & Nash, Matchbox 20, Jimi Hendrix and Johnny Rzeznik to name a few. All which reflect his style, sound and most of all his passion for masterful guitar playing.

  1. He once auditioned to attend the Berklee School of Music in Boston but was encouraged by the Assistant Chair of the Guitar Dept to embark on his career immediately because his talents were beyond that of the typical student!
  2. He was picked by Music Connection Magazine as one of the Top 25 new artists of 2013
  3. Country Music Association’s CMA Closeup Magazine chose him as a “Who New To Watch in 2014.”
  4. Brandon secured a coveted spot to play a Grand Plaza main stage show at the 2014 National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM).

He has opened for a mixture of some of music’s greatest artists, Vince Gill, the Time Jumpers and Ed Roland of Collective Soul, John Mayer and Ben Folds. While he was in Austin, Brandon opened for guitar greats Redd Voelkart (Merle Haggard) as well as Austin’s renowned Malford Milligan, known for being the lead singer for Austin’s famed rock & blues band, Storyville. Brandon has played legendary music venues across the country from The Roxy in LA, Joe’s Bar in Chicago, The Mint in LA to a headlining show at the Hard Rock in Hollywood.
