Bluegrass Legend Dr. Ralph Stanley New Album “Man Of Constant Sorrow” Available at Cracker Barrel

Uncle Herschel’s Favorite is no longer your only reason to take a trip to Cracker Barrel. Bluegrass legend Ralph Stanley’s new album, Man Of Constant Sorrow, is now available exclusively at all Cracker Barrel locations.

The Grammy award winning artist teams up on this record with a bevy of country, rock and bluegrass royalty. Dierks Bentley, Elvis Costello, Old Crow Medicine Show, Robert Plant, Ricky Skaggs, Josh Turner and Lee Ann Womack are just a few of the voices you will hear on the album.

Stanley started his first band, The Clinch Mountain Boys, straight out of high school along with his brother Carter. Later as the The Stanley Brothers they penned their signature tune “Man Of Constant Sorrow”. After Carter’s death Ralph continued to create and play music mentoring many up and comers along the way. You may have heard of some..Ricky Skaggs, Larry Sparks and Keith Whitley, perhaps?

Stanley has been the recipient of 3 Grammy Awards and an ACM nomination. In 2006 he received the Living Legend Award from the Library of Congress as well as a National Medal of Arts. Ralph was granted an honorary Doctorate of Music degree from Yale and is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.

Man Of Constant Sorrow is not an album you want to miss. So head on out to Cracker Barrel and Dr.RalphStanley.com to grab your copy. Because a good meal and some good music will make you smarter, but still not smart enough to figure out that tabletop peg game.
