Big & Rich Take To The New Year With Appearances on Today Show, ESPN, CMT and DirectTV

While gravity keeps most of us grounded, two of country music’s prolific talents have found a way to defy physics. John Rich and Big Kenny came out swinging in the latter part of 2014 with the release of their anticipated fifth album, Gravity.  Yet, unlike the title may suggest, nothing is holding them down. As most of the world is checking out and coasting into the new year Big & Rich are shifting into high gear with myriad television appearances and performances.

The versatile country duo kicks off Christmas Eve by stopping by NBC’s Today Show where they will team up with correspondent Jenna Bush Hager and none other than miss Brenda Lee.  If one holiday song lyric describes John and Kenny it has to be, “.. in the new old fashion way”.

A few days later on Monday, Dec. 29 the dynamic dyad will be rocking fans at the Autozone Liberty Bowl halftime show in Memphis, TN. In addition to the performance Big & Rich will be honored with the bowl’s Outstanding Achievement Award. Of which past recipients include Elvis, B.B. King, Alabama and the Temptations.

On January 2 the group will be featured on DirectTV’s Guitar Center Sessions. The hitmaking songwriters will discuss their history, unique style, rise to fame and future plans. Fans will also be treated to performances from the revered Guitar Center Hollywood.

Next it is off to Dallas. On January 9 Big & Rich will take to the stage for the CMT Ultimate Kick-Off Party leading up to the College Football Playoff National Championship. Country rock and college football, a tale as old as time.

What was that? You still have not gotten your fill of Big Kenny and John? Well, fear not young Hillbilly padawan because on January 19 the duo drops a big ol’ juicy new song. “Run Away With You”, will be the second single from Gravity. These guys rarely disappoint and the newest album is no exception.  If you want a little more on Gravity check out the review I did earlier this year by clicking here.

The guys have a great year on the horizon which translates to lots of cool things in store for fans. To pick up the album, find news and check tour dates visit BigandRich.com
