Articles By: Lindsay Eanet

When Lindsay Eanet was 10 years old, she heard The Beatles' "I Am The Walrus" for the first time and it totally blew her mind. Ever since then, she's had an almost compulsory love of All Things Rock (And Country), to the point where she's even publicly defended Garth Brooks's "Chris Gaines" phase. She's currently finishing up her journalism degree at the University of Missouri, where she used to run the campus arts and entertainment magazine, MOVE, and got to interview lots of neat people, from Ted Leo to Tab Benoit. In addition to being a staff writer and social networking maven for CountryMusicPride.com, Lindsay's work has been featured in In These Times, Soundcheck Magazine, Vox Magazine (Columbia, Mo.) and McSweeney's.net. When not writing until her fingers start to cramp, Lindsay can usually be found enjoying live music, watching football (both American football and real football, which you Yankees call "soccer") or making her notorious seven-layer dip. http://lindsayeanet.wordpress.com/ (Personal/Professional blog) http://www.twitter.com/lindsayeanet (Twitter) 1. The nicest thing you've ever done? My freshman year of college, on Valentine's Day, I set up a display in the lounge of our dorm with all my floormates' pictures on index cards, each with a few sentences about what I loved about them. 2. Favorite band 10 years ago, favorite band today? The answer to this will forever be the same: The Beatles. 3. How do you roll? Backwards somersault.

Review: Gloriana, The Blue Note (Columbia, Missouri) – 12/9/09
For a band as media-savvy as country quartet Gloriana (now a quintet with the addition of bassist Zack Brindisi), and one that has done a pretty excellent job of conquering Twitter and YouTube, it seems only fitting that their show at The Blue Note in Columbia, Mo. would begin with the audience whipping...
