“Are You Ready for the Country”? Hank Williams To Premier New Music Video

Hank Williams Jr. will premiere his highly anticipated new music video for “Are You Ready for the Country” which features Eric Church exclusively on CMT beginning Saturday, November 21st through the weekend.

The video will debut during “CMT Hot 20 Countdown” airing November 21st at 9|8C, on CMT.com and on the CMT Artists app. Vevo and syndicated partners will follow on Monday, November 23rd. The pair shot the video in Nashville at The City View Apartments parking structure with scenes focused heavily focused on the live performance with the background alternating between the vibe of country and city.

Fans got a preview of what was to be expected during the opening of the 49th Annual CMA Awards where Hank Jr. and Eric performed the single and garnered critical acclaim with Billboard calling it “a strong opener” and RARE saying the two “rocked some faces off.”

It’s already been a big week for Hank Jr. who entered a select club of artists charting singles over six decades as “Are You Ready for the Country” debuted at #58 on the Billboard Country Airplay Chart, the Peter Zavadil directed video continues to build momentum around the legendary singer- songwriter’s lead track. His upcoming album, “It’s About Time”, is due out on Nash Icon Records January 15, 2016.
