A Boot Stompin’ Tribute To George Strait…From The Josh Abbott Band

This week, to honor the release of George Strait’s new box set, Strait’s fellow Texans in the Josh Abbott Band performed a cover of “Give It Away,” putting their own unique spin on the tune. “Give It Away” is one of the King’s more recent hits released in 2006 but still landing him his 41st No.1 single.

The “pure gold” performance can be watched now HERE.

George Strait is partnering with Walmart to release a new hits collection, “Strait Out of the Box: Part 2″. The project will be available exclusively at Walmart on November 18th.

If you’re still wanting more after listening to their spot on rendition of “Give It Away”, check out their latest single “Amnesia” which is sure to be a follow up hit to their popular “Wasn’t That Drunk” with Carly Pearce.

The Josh Abbott band continue their 2016 tour in support of their latest release ‘Front Row Seat.’  The country favorites album debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Independent Albums chart last year and the music has garnered high praise.
