Josh Abbott Band Debuts Powerful New Video For “Amnesia”

The Josh Abbott Band have released their most personal music video to date for their latest single “Amnesia.”  The song details the final chapter of a relationship dissolved in harrowing and heartbreaking detail.

…in the case of this perfect performance…the tenor lead vocal aches beautifully, and the band’s chiming, churning accompaniment adds to the fever. Absolutely a winner,” Music Row raves about the single.

Watch the video for “Amnesia” here:

Directed by Evan Kaufman, the camera follows a man who has recently lost his wife. Abbott explains of the video…

I didn’t want the video for Amnesia to be predictable: in other words, I didn’t want it to be about divorce or breaking up. I wanted those words to be felt dramatically in a situation that was even more hopeless. So Evan Kaufmann and I worked on a script and treatment that takes the viewer through some very personal images and memories of this main character as he explores his options for moving on from someone. The ending will hit you in the gut.”

The Josh Abbott band continue their 2016 tour in support of their latest release ‘Front Row Seat.’  The country favorites album debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Independent Albums chart last year and the music has been receiving high praise.
